"If heaven is a little bit of old-world charm mixed with Southern-inspired
cuisine and gentle live music, then Heaven City Restaurant is well-named."
"A great excuse to go for a country drive, housed an historic old
home whose small rooms create an intimate feel. A special-occasion place
with special-occasion prices - "ideal for a romantic date."
New owners promise a more casual approach, and the items on Tapas Tuesday
and "fish try" Friday are reasonably priced." MKE

"The Kettle Moraine has always been a favorite district
in southeastern Wisconsin for a drive in the country. One of the Moraine's
destination points has long been Heaven City in Mukwonago. The historic
building, with its hint of Prairie School architecture, is not just well
located on a beautiful piece of land, but offers choice entrees and a
well-stocked bar. (Morton Shlabotnik)

Enjoy a slice of Heaven. "We heard that the
beautiful restaurant had reopened under new ownership and were delighted
to try it out. Boy, were we glad we did. It was better than any experience
we had ever had. (At any restaurant!) The ambiance of Heaven City is worth
coming for alone. The service was timely and accommodating. Our waiter
was very knowledgeable and helpful. The food was brilliantly presented
and tasted even better!" customer
